We don’t overbreed our queens, and we don’t rush kittens out the door before they’re truly ready, physically or behaviorally. A kitten typically doesn’t leave our home until it has reached an appropriate age, is eating solid food confidently, is using the litter box reliably, and has had the veterinary attention appropriate for its stage of life.
Throughout their time here, kittens are monitored daily. We know what normal looks like for each kitten in a litter — their energy level, their appetite, their weight gain, their behavior — and we notice quickly if something seems off. That kind of close, constant observation is only possible because these kittens are raised in our home, not in a facility where one caretaker is stretched across dozens of animals. If anything about a kitten’s health raises a concern, We address it immediately and transparently, and we never place a kitten we have concerns about without being fully upfront with the receiving family.
Veterinary Care

What Our Health Guarantee Covers
We stand behind the health of every kitten we place. If, within the timeframe specified in your kitten’s individual purchase agreement, a licensed veterinarian identifies a genetic or congenital health issue that was present at the time your kitten went home with you, We will work directly with you to make it right. Depending on the specific circumstances, this may include a replacement kitten from a future or current litter, or another resolution we agree on together. We want to be upfront that the specific terms, timeframes, and conditions of this guarantee are detailed in the individual kitten purchase agreement you’ll receive and sign at the time of adoption, because every situation and every kitten can have slightly different circumstances worth spelling out clearly in writing.
This guarantee is specifically intended to cover genetic and congenital conditions — meaning conditions that were present in the kitten from birth, not illnesses or injuries that occur after the kitten has left our care due to environmental factors, accidents, improper care, exposure to illness from other animals, or failure to follow recommended veterinary guidance. This is a standard and reasonable distinction in responsible breeding, because once a kitten leaves our home, We’re no longer able to control their environment, and it wouldn’t be fair to either of us to guarantee against things outside anyone’s control at that point.
Your Responsibilities as a New Owner
To keep this guarantee valid and, more importantly, to give your new kitten the healthiest possible start, I ask every family to:
Schedule a veterinary wellness check within the first seven days of bringing your kitten home, and keep documentation of that visit. Follow reasonable, standard care recommendations for feeding, environment, and veterinary follow-up. Reach out to me promptly if any health concerns arise, rather than waiting — We would always rather hear from you early than have a small concern turn into something bigger because I wasn’t looped in. Avoid exposing your new kitten to other animals of unknown health status during the initial adjustment period, particularly before they’ve completed any remaining preventative care appropriate to their age, since a kitten’s immune system is still developing during this window.
None of this is meant to feel like a hurdle. It’s the same advice We’d give a close friend bringing home a new kitten, because it genuinely gives your new family member the best possible foundation.
